Lip Balm Holder Free Pattern

This is a great little project to use up some of that left over fingering weight yarn or maybe some embroidery floss that you have laying around.

Materials:

For single color holder:

9 yards Fingering weight yarn (or 1 skein embroidery floss)

For multi color holder:

3 yards fingering weight yarn in 4 different colors (or 1 skein each of 4 different colors of embroidery floss)

Crochet hook size B (2.25 mm)

To test your gauge you can just finish the first round and then check to see if it is about the same circumference as the bottom of your lip balm, if it is pretty close then you are good. If it is way too big then size down your hook and if it is way too small then size up your hook.

Solid Color Lip Balm Holder:
